I, Rachel, personally have struggled with Eczema and Psorsis all my life. I had Psorsis on my legs and in my scalp, and Eczema everywhere else. When My friend Lindsey Reiswig gave me a bar of handmade soap a few years ago I had no idea there was a difference. That handmade soap did wonders to my skin and overtime and continual use my skin started to clear up. The Soaps got rid of nearly 75% of all my skin problems. For the rest of it I started to make new products to see if it would help. First I made the Lotion Stick. I kept it unscented because I knew that scents can irritate skin. So this Lotion Stick is All-Natural with wonderful ingredients like beeswax, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil and shea butter. I decided I wanted it on a stick that way germs from my hands wouldn't infect my dry spots further. This Lotion is also great to use on the face or eyelids if you have dry spots there. Next I had troubles getting the Psorsis out of my scalp and the Lotion Stick just couldn't get through my hair. So I decided to make the Therapy Oils on a Roller. The Roller allows it to get to my scalp. The Tea-Tree Therapy Oil is the one I use at night for this is the one that will primarily heal up my head, but it has a strong medicinal smell. So during the Day I like to use the Anti-Itch Therapy oil which has very little scent to it at all. The Honey Salve is new and has done wonders for my hands! I like to use this, goats milk lotion and the lotion stick throughout the day to hydrate my hands more.
My Recommendations for Sensitive Skin:
Goats Milk Lotions (Natural or Eucalyptus n Spearmint)
Bath Salts (Lavender, Lavender mint or Eucalyptus n Lemongrass) These are 100% natural using essential oils)
Bars of Soap with Essential Oils - Tea-Tree, Lavender, Rub-a-Dub, Black Licorice, Peppermint, Flower Power
Goats Milk Bars of Soap with Essential Oils - Lemongrass, Eucalyptus
Milk n Oats this is a fragrance but oatmeal is also great for dry skin so I recommend this bar as well
* Any of our soaps will work its that sometimes a scent can irritate so this is why I recommend essential oils first. I personally use fragrance soaps myself and it has not irritated my skin in the least.
I, Rachel Uttecht, am the owner and creator of Dirty Kids Soap. I got interested in making all-natural products when I realized the benefits they would have on my skin. By switching to natural soaps my ezcema and psorisis has cleared up completely. Because of this dramatic change in my skin health I now spend my time teaching others the benefits of all- natural skin care products.
